Lots of changes happen in the background between BIOS revision. If your PC was stable with your previous BIOS, there was no need to update it. You can always use the USB BIOS Flashback to downgrade back to your previous BIOS.

I think you're maybe right. I revert to 2202 but anyone knows why bios 3007 and 3201 has this issue?

Same here with VIII Ranger. I downgraded to 2202 too.

My Temperature:

Bios V. 2202 i7 6700k @ 4,5GHZ on Manual Voltage 1.3V max Temp 71 deegrees

update to 3007 ... 3007 freezed a few times ... flashed back to 2202 ...

now on 2202. 4,5GHZ on Manual Voltage 1.3V max Temp 87 deegrees "but only on 1core" the others on about 72 deegrees ... ( i did a few bios resets after rollback... and i use the same CPU-fan as before )

Bios 2202, 6700K@800Mhz, 0,7v Idle = 32c
Bios 3201, 6700K@800Mhz, 0,7v Idel = 48c
Same room temp (23c).
