Trying to run 4 dedicated USB 3.0 cables to Oculus rift sensors, Oculus recommends no more than 2 sensors on a single USB controller.

I assume all USB 3.0 ports on the back of the hero are on the same controller, and the ASMEDIA 3.1 controller would count as another (but theres only one regular USB port on the back for that). Is the Type C connector right next to the type A port on its own controller for some odd reason? I could get a type C to A adapter.

If I get one of these slot plate adapters https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0066KP06M/ for the USB 3.0 front panel port on the motherboard, does that run off another controller or is that tied into the same hub as the USB 3.0 ports on the back?

Does the same kind of slot plate adapter exist yet for the USB 3.1 front panel port on the motherboard? I cant find one.
