    Crosshair V Z and 9590 socket temps hitting 75c with prime95 HELP?

Hey guys, so I have a Crosshair V Z and 9590 but the socket temps are hitting 75c with prime95. What is the max safe socket temp?
Any way to attach a heatsink to the rear of the mobo with thermal epoxy or glue rather than use a fan?

Cool 40mm fan to the rescue

Safe socket temp is 70° C. You are running too hot. Standard practice for AMD FX/AM3 motherboards is to mount a 40mm fan to the back of the socket backplate with two sided foam tape blowing on the socket. Reduces socket temps a good 10° C usually.
