First Time Thermaltake Core W100 EKWB build
Hey guys! This is my first watercooling build that i will be attempting. I havent got the parts from EKWB yet as i just ordered them today so it will be a couple weeks or so before i get them But i do have the Thermaltake Core W100. Below is a list of parts from EK i'll be using.
http://www.skycloudphotography.com/N..._170002295.pdf
PC Parts that will be in my tower:
Case: Thermaltake Core W100
CPU: Intel i7 6900 (OCd to 4.2ghz)
Mobo: Asus x99 Deluxe ii
Ram: TridentZ 64gb 3200mhz (4 x 16gb sticks)
Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX (temporary)
SSD: Sandisk 480gb
Samsung 950 PRO M.2 2280 512gb
GPUs: (2) EVGA GTX FTW Gaming ACX3.0(not in loop due to waiting for EVGA to give me go ahead to switch both these cards out for the new FTW2's)
once that happens with the GPU's i have to wait till EK gets the full blocks made for them then ill do either one loop which ill drain the new one and either keep what i got or put a EK XE 360 rad up front and add in the mix or do a separate loop for GPUs with the XE 360 or something. not sure what ill do yet.
Once i get the parts and start putting it together ill take pics of the progress. Questions and comments welcome but please don't be rude.
I'm hoping it's gonna be a killer system.Last edited by mjohnson24; 03-03-2017 at 04:23 AM.

Hi mjohnson
With your pc parts, dual 1080's and your choice in water cooling, there is no doubt you're going to have a killer system.
I'm looking forward to seeing pics as you go so please post lots.

Hey mjohnson,
I was wondering how it was coming along, You can try tilting your case to get the air bubbles out, the bubbles should work themselves out after a few days.
I can't see your pics it's asking me to log in.

Try this link. I got to it without logging in so it should work. The other was probably my login link lol.

Yea i been tilting it on its front, right side, back side, every which a way and not all came out yet. Im hoping its flowing pretty good through the whole loop. Which there was a better way to check and see. Dont wanna get all of it connected and see the temps skyrocket.
the issue is the monoblock dont wanna fill to the top and cool the motherboard all the time. If i turn the PSU off sometimes it stays and sometimes a big air bubble comes through the tube from Reservoir back to the monoblock and causes it to lower the coolant level.

I can see your pics now and it looks good !
I was going to suggest when the air gets out of the monoblock to fill the res as full as possible but it looks like it's already full.
Does the monoblock fill up when your turn it on ?Last edited by Nate152; 05-22-2017 at 02:22 PM.

The air should work itself out over time and may take a couple days to a week.
Has it got any better ?

Its been bleeding the air out off and on for the past couple weeks but today i actually let it run for 5 1/2 hours so far. The below is what i sent to EKWB earlier so im gonna see what they say. Copied it verbatim so i wouldnt have to retype it. Just scared to connect everything and boot up the system since the coolant isnt getting to the Mosfets yet. Dont want them to over heat.
Im trying to get this system to fill all parts fully but themonoblock still does not wanna fully fill. it fills about maybe three quartersof the block when i turn it on and thyats it. When i turn it off it goes backdown to about half. When i turn the PSU back on i've opened the port that goesto the monoblock and i can see that it looks liek that side of the XE480 isntbut half full but if i open the other port opposite of where the the GPU goesinto the XE480 and its full. But when i stop the PSU it goes back to full. Idont get it. I dont wanna connect erverything and power up the board if i cantget coolant to go over the Mosfets. (top part of monoblock). Im starting towonder if something is bad either pump isnt running fully cause i'm not evenable to hear it at all hardly. I know its running but i just dont think itsrunning fully for some reason. Or maybe the loop is routed wrong. Maybe itneeds to be routed differently. I dont know but its very frustrating and i needto get this back up and running soon. I serioulsy need help trying to figureout whats wrong. This thing cant be this dang hard to bleed out the airbubbles. I even at one time tried to route it back into the Res at the inletport instead of at the top but still nothing. But also it seems like with myRes filled all the way to the top almost it never lowers like it should sincethe monoblock is obviously not completely filled so it should have went downsome. So something has to be wrong somewhere. Again my flow direction isattached just incase.
Pics 1-4 are with PSU running the pump. 5-6 are when its running but tilting the case forward quite a bit.
