asmedia asm104x usb 3.0 host controller not found

Hi,

I just did a fresh windows install 8.1 64 bit and when I am install asmedia usb diriver it is giving this error messaage "asmedia asm104x usb 3.0 host controller not found". I used the same driver many times without havviinig this problem. In bios the setting for the controller is also enabled.

Any ideas?

Have you always been using Windows 8.1 and that exact same driver?

Yes. I shutdown down the pc an re-installed windows with the same driver and now it found it.
