I read somewhere that the g74sx laptops had a mini display port output. I want to use my iMac 27" as an additional monitor and wonder if this is would be possible right out of the bo

I read about VGA-out and HDMI-out and used them on my G74SX-AI, but "mini display-out" is unfamiliar to me. Perhaps there is a VGA, HDMI, or USB to mini display adapter (http://www.google.com/#hl=en&cp=18&gs_id=2f&xhr=t&q=mini+display+adapter&pf=p&sclient=psy-ab&source=...) you could use?
