If your system is running at stock settings (with no memory OC), then it's okay to wait. If you've overclocked, then you should update to 0902.

Just finished updating. When I ran CPU-Z to bench, Windows environment became very laggy and almost non-responsive. This did not happen in 5803 to my knowledge. So I can boot to 2666 mHZ RAM no problem now (previous bios update I could only do 2400) but I still can't get 3200 mHZ. However instead of a boot loop, my qLED shot up an error C3 and refused to boot.

Overall though, my temps seem lower than last bios update. 37 on idle, stock CPU with no OC applied. (Hovered around 40 consistently before)

Getting to DDr-3200 requires the right memory modules and a good CPU.

Raja, I will be away from my computers for @ 8 days so hopefully the C6H mbs will start flowing. What BIOS version are the C6H mbs shipping with.
BTW, since the C6H was back ordered, I'm using the "plain Jane" Asus Prime B350 Plus and I must say I'm impressed. It even OC'd to 4.0 with my Ryzen 1800x. My Gskill TridentZ DDR4-3200 CL16 works at 2666 when you enable D.O.C.P.!

Good job for a simple mb. I'm keeping the cpu (1800X) at stock and running ram at 2666. I got lucky while waiting for the EK AM4 waterblock that my Corsair H110i GT works on the mb with the AMD bracket (it ships with the 2 mounting points for AMD).

a good CPU ? so the ryzen 7 1800x is not good enough?
where is the list that tells me which memory modules are supported?
when i try to run it at 3200mhz it will reboot all the time.

    G.SKILL RIPJAWS V
    F4-3200C16Q-32GVK
    DDR4-3200 PC4-25600
    8192MB x 4
    CL16-16-16-36 1.35v

this memory modules worked fine with the z170 deluxe and i7 6700k
btw can someone explain me why its 0902 now when it was 5803 before?

well this was the last time i ve bought something from amd

What he means by a "good cpu" is a good overclocking cpu. Basically how lucky you got with the silicon lottery. When you buy a cpu, its a roll of the dice weather you get a "good" one or a "bad" one as far as overclocking is concerned.

I am running an overclock, but my memory is pretty much stock (3000mhz Corsair LPX)

I'm actually more interested in overclocking the BCLK. Currently I can't seem to push it past 110mhz. Tried SOC voltage at 1.2v. No difference.

I wouldn't call 3000Mhz memory or SOC voltage at 1.20V stock. Both of those are reason enough to update to 0902 unless you are happy to risk bricking the board.
