Pink/purple textures in games
Well, my G73JH seems to be giving me all sorts of random problems lately. First it was BSODing after being put to sleep, and now this:
For no apparent reason I'm getting pinkish purple textures in games. Above screenshot is from Half-Life 2: Lost Coast but this happens in all games. Anybody else ever experience this? Specs are in my sig below.ASUS G73Jh | Intel Core i7-740QM | ATI Mobility Radeon 5870 1GB GDDR5 | 6GB Hynix DDR3-1333 | Seagate Momentus 640GB 5400 RPM HDD | HD+ 1600x900 Display | Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 | vBIOS 93 | AMD Catalyst 12.3

Running Catalyst 11.10. GPU was around 65 C when it happened.
I think I may have found the root case of this. Apparently the Source engine will do this when you Alt+Tab out of the game too many times or go back to the desktop in the middle of the game using the Windows key. Someone on another forum told me about this and I was able to recreate the problem by task switching a few times mid-game.ASUS G73Jh | Intel Core i7-740QM | ATI Mobility Radeon 5870 1GB GDDR5 | 6GB Hynix DDR3-1333 | Seagate Momentus 640GB 5400 RPM HDD | HD+ 1600x900 Display | Windows 7 Home Premium x64 SP1 | vBIOS 93 | AMD Catalyst 12.3
