    The one that's next to enabling the RGB at all doesn't work for my shut down system, sadly. Can either use RGB lighting with light show when off or don't use it at all.

    So the LED option in the Advanced > On-board Devices menu doesn't work? Too bad, as it's supposed to.

    the led function is working like it should dont spread lies the only thing that is missing is that q-code function described in the manual.
    upgrade your bios to the latest version...

    Maybe "soft off" means something different than what we think? Or maybe the setting just doesn't work. I tried mine and it does the same thing.

    Just tried Windows 10 sleep state, same result. And fans are doing completely not the settings i entered inside the UEFI now lol... guess time to reboot.

    ah you mean that hibernate function i misunderstood you i ve tought you were talking about the rgb disable/enable function above
    i am not in the mood to play around with the bios settings because i am scared to brick my board

    As long as you are running the 0902 BIOS you cannot brick your board. If you are not running the 0902 BIOS you definitely should be.

    Found out how to disable the RGB on powered off and sleep state, just needs one setting in ASUS Aura:

    Go to Independent tab and chose "Off" here, the marked "POWER OFF" above it shows that it's for this state. Hit apply and enjoy darkness apart of the CPU Ready LED!
