I use an 256GB Intel 600p series M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD, which works great on the C6H

Very happy with it so far.
I was wondering if you were able to get your Plextor to work in NVMe mode? I have the 1TB version and can only seem to get it to work in AHCI mode with SATA type speeds.

This is my first build with a Mobo that has native M.2 so its sorta new territory for me. Looking for some recomendations on what the best and most reliable model would be in general for that price range. Or if anyone is running Win 10 Pro on a certain model 250gb M.2 drive already , and youve had no issue with it ( bios compatibility or hiccups), id appreciate the input!

    Thanks in advance!
Within the price range I think 960 evo is the best. If you don't mind oem models you can get sm961 which is the same as 960 pro without warranty. Or you can pay 30 dollars more and get a 600p with double storage and less performance. Hope you find this useful

There's a surprising number of people around here with M.2 drives. Though I suppose it shouldn't be surprising. Every current owner of a Crosshair VI and Ryzen is likely someone who could regularly be described as an early adopter.

Couple threads discussing performance as well.
