What ya setting? Need to add vdd change at amd cbs above 3200+ for b-die memory. What I read from here I disable GDM cause it slow speed t1 to between t1-t2. I know have to add voltage to cpu core to get 3333 running here cause adding vdd is not just enough.

    Currently running a 1800x @ 3.9 - 1.375v

    3333mhz cl 14 1.4v samsung b-die memory (3600cl16)

    vdd -> 0.900v

what are the values you're running for:

    CLDO_VDDP
    VDD
    RAM voltage
    SOC voltage

or perhaps you could share some bios pictures of the most important areas

Cause you seem to be using the same memory kit as me.

    Thanks ahead

Did you tried to load Stilt's 3466 profile built-in BIOS first?
Remember to set training count to something like 4-6 (default is 1).
If it does not boot reliably every time (at least from warm boot) rise DRAM voltage to say 1.41 - 1.43 and same for DRAM boot voltage.
Profile sets SOC to 1.15. Sometimes it helps to rise a bit (1.16+) but sometimes it helps make it lower.
If still is not OK try finding procODT. Start with 53 and then lower and higher values.
Additionally high core speed may not like high mem speed (so you may want to try 3.8GHz, make sure mem is stable and then go back up).

Looking at all the numbers I should be very happy I got in hell of a CPU.. it runs all day 4.25Ghz at 1.33 to 1.35v but man I wan to OC my Ram a bit. I have no luck running anything above 3200Mhz 13C but I shouldn’t be complaining as I have 64GB 2 x 32... but I wish I can run 3333 or 3466 some day.*

did you validate with IBT AVX ? I thought my 4GHz was 100% stable at 1.3875v (it had zero issue with everything until I ran Intel Burn Test with AVX intructions) and forced me to go down to 3.9GHz before I could pass a single loop. No vcore under 1.41875v (highest I attempted) made 4GHz stable in that test.

I have noticed, despite lowering CPU clocks 100MHz, my system feels snappier. It's almost too subtle to notice..

yup I have run every test possible as I need a stable system for my VM’s - I don’t want servers crashing when I do my labs as i have esxi host and sccm servers all running with 10 windows 7 clients.*
*At 4.25 my temps won’t even cross 58c thanks to EK waterblock and 360mm radiators. I have 3 Coolermaster 2800RPM fans running at 1000rpm idle.*

And hey mine runs 4.2ghz but I don’t want to push it as It takes 1.46v for 4.2ghz. *

The 1701 Bios turned out to be stable for me, but still not clocking my memory at it's proposed stock speed (3200mhz). It only runs at 2100mhz with this bios version (did all the tweaking with ProcODT @ 96-120 ohm), voltage, memory profiles, and some more). Reverted back to 1403 which does allows me to clock my memory at higher speeds with the beforementioned tweaks (2933mhz).

    System details:

    Ryzen R7 1700 @ 3.88 Ghz
Asus Crosshair VI Hero (BIOS: 1403)
    G.Skill F4-3200C16D-32GTZKY (2x 16GB) @ 1.35v D.O.C.P.5 Profile enabled (timings 16/18/18/38) @ 2933Mhz. ProcODT @ 96ohm

There is another VDD setting? Well I didn't see it. I am using 3600c15 you use 3600c16 quite different, I could pick rgb version or 4266c19 but didn't. Major message boards are occupied with annoying peoples who say there is no different between 2400c19 vs 4600c19 memory and it is all depending on cpu imc over years. But that is another topic.

I have 32GB of G.Skill 3600 c15 running fine at $501 and it has been sold for about 2 weeks now. The one important setting that made that possible is mentioned in a post a little while ago from me.
    https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...d-1501/page135

Although synthetic benchmarks don't improve over 3466, I find game load times do. I haven't tried pushing the RAM further yet but I might. They would boot at 3600 but weren't stable. I am out of town currently and have been for the past week but I can post more detailed settings, if needed, when I get back home.

Yep, and most drivers from Windows Update are usually significantly more dated.

Ugh! Damn fanboys! Hopefully the craptacular sensor chip, lack of stability, no Dolby sound officially, fan headers shutting off for no reason, and the many other reasons to avoid Asus in the future due to the disappointment the current Crosshair VI line has turned out to be. Those are the things that need to keep people from buying Asus! Those who blindly support the company can enjoy their delusional state because they won't ever find better from never trying anything else.
    fanboy? lol

    you have no idea...
I have had boards of all flavours and colors (asus, msi. gigabye, asrock, you name it) and Asus was always the best experience overall....

Not saying that crosshair vi hero is perfect because it is flawed but bios update are making it better as time passes.

Don't brand people with your opinion....
