The very bottom of the post will shed some light on your frustrations. Also the meat of the post should help as well with getting your ram functioning again. Hope this helps.
I wanted to say thanks for sharing that link. I had some free time Friday night and Saturday to absorb some of that and tinker with my system. The CLDO_VDDP definitely seems to have some impact on RAM stability. The value of 937 that is mentioned in the thread, I decided to give a try. My system did boot into Windows just fine but the RAM failed AIDA64 stability testing within the first 5 minutes. That was at Stilt's 3,600MHz presets, which is looser timings than my RAM is rated for. I played around with that number for a bit to see if I could get 3,600MHz stable for the RAM with no luck but I only tried a range of 935-945. I tried again at 937 at 3,466 at my RAM's rated settings, 15-15-15-15-35-50-44-2T and everything booted fine. Saturday night to Sunday morning, it passed just over 8 hours of AIDA64's stress test. I did have to bump my RAM voltage up to 1.43 though but it is stable. I have played quite a bit of Horizon 3 today as well, which normally is very sensitive to the RAM being unstable and no crashes.

One thing to note though, is that I have had higher stable RAM speeds before on previous BIOS's that did pass AIDA64's stress test for more than 8 hours. However, for some reason, this board gets to a point where it just refuses to want to do that anymore, crashes, and doesn't pass POST until things are scaled back to 3,200MHz for the RAM. This happens with no changes to the BIOS or BIOS version at all but has happened to me a few times without explanation. I am hoping this time will be different. I just wanted share because so far, the information there was helpful and I hope it holds up.

Trust me, your experience will only take you back to Asus, every single time!
There is no better support and there is no better brand than Asus.

    Lets talk drivers:

Most of the drivers are 3rd party and Asus delivers a great base for the product to work correctly.
Imagine having to monitor every single driver release from all the 3rd parties...
    Cmon...

While true, the fact that others do it wrong is not an excuse to do it the same way.

Why are they out of date? Do they work? Although sometimes newer drivers do provide newer functions and reliability, that isn't always the case. If it works, that is the most important thing. Whether it was released yesterday, 4 months ago, or 2 years ago doesn't matter.

Yep, and most drivers from Windows Update are usually significantly more dated.

Ugh! Damn fanboys! Hopefully the craptacular sensor chip, lack of stability, no Dolby sound officially, fan headers shutting off for no reason, and the many other reasons to avoid Asus in the future due to the disappointment the current Crosshair VI line has turned out to be. Those are the things that need to keep people from buying Asus! Those who blindly support the company can enjoy their delusional state because they won't ever find better from never trying anything else.

+1 I agree with you, I'm very disappointed of this motherboard , after several months nothing works correctly

BIOS 1602 has totally screwed up my stable 3066mhz ram config, I can no longer get my SK hynix trident Z 3200Mhz anywhere near the rated speed of the ram. More needs to be done with the AGESA for more ram compatibility. There is not one profile on this motherboard that is SK hynix, not one! why is that?

I also noticed that the VDDSOC Default after flashing bios 1602 was set the 1.400v - why the hell is that ? VDDSOC should be 1.068 or 1.100 as per AMD video

This was the only thing that made a difference on 1602 for me with my RAM. Although my RAM is single rank Samsung B-die, it might be worth giving it a try. Whatever is wrong with 1501 and 1602 really seems to shaft higher RAM clocks without adding any stability. Although I am not calling my system stable yet thanks to this board going bonkers in the past on RAM speeds higher than 3,200MHz after a few days of being rock solid for no reason at all. I have had this system stable so far on 1602 at 3,466 for a couple of days and bumped it up to 3,501MHz on the RAM Monday morning and haven't had any issues with it yet.
