i still can't get it to work at 3200Mhz properly. So basically it's the same as the 9945 bios. de DOCP reads the 14-14-14-34 timings, but it fails to read some of the other advanced timings on the XMP profile.

    -- EDIT --
I've went ahead, and manually tweaked some things:
    - DOCP standard selected (BLCK -> 100)
    - vcore 1.1
    - added the remaining SPD information that the bios didn't fill in automatically
    - command rate 2T
    - ProcODT 80ohms (sux, i know, only way to get it to boot)

Prime 95 runs and passes without failures. Without having to touch the vcore or vddp or any other voltages. - this is a great sign in terms of stability!
You are not able to run it at 3200 ? I have the same ram 32gig 2x16 14c and I am able to run it 3333 14C with 9945 **

use Tor browser to access and download bios file if your from the uk.

Is this 1401 bios beta? When will it be uploaded to the official support page?

Appreciate you are annoyed, but keep the expletives (even in acronym form) out of your posts, please. Edited.

I'm not annoyed raja, I'm frustrated. and btw I literally removed the wtf from the sentence seconds after I wrote it. realising I was coming across as passive aggressive.

I wanted to have a look at the new bios before I took a trip to the hospital so you don't appreciate where I'm coming from. 3600mhz still isn't possible with 4266mhz G.skill GKZR 16gb. good day sir!

as I said if your a paying customer from the uk, you wont be able to access the bios using your browser so use a VPN to download the new bios.

There was also an ef-word laden acronym in the text that I removed well after you'd made edits (for your reference that acronym ends with an s, for sake - that's the one you missed in your tidy up of the post). 3600 may never be possible for all people on this platform, even if you have an Intel-rated 4266 kit. Too many variables. 3200 is the doable zone for most CPUs/kits/boards. After that, things become more conditional.

Seems a good candidate, but I went back to 9945 after some unexplained hiccups (crashes and so forth). Not sure what's going on, and I've no heart or time to experiment endlessly to fine tune it.

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but the most glaring lack is the BIOS seeming inability to read Intel XMP profiles and fill in the registers for you. I still find that absolutely ridiculous at this late stage in the boards release.
Tired of trolls and mods that act like this platform has no problems and it's the users fault. Later.

Like I said, XMP is an Intel tech. You'll have to use DOCP.
