Exactly this. It seems that Corsair and AMD are already aware of this issue, as stated here.
So for now - I would recommend using CPU-Z, some users also report HWInfo64 as to be "safe", and NOT using iCue for the time being. Ryzen Master and CPU-Z are the only "official" tools right now that can show telemetry without waking up cores, according to AMD.

It's gonna be interesting for me as well. I've ordered a 3600X (to replace my 1600X) and so far I haven't updated my C6H to the latest UEFI - cuz I still don't trust 7106. It has too many issues and is not even the latest AGESA. So... ASUS, you might put in some more manhours for this. A lot of ppl bought x370/x470 boards just for Ryzen 3000...so, c'mon. ROG gotta mean something, otherwise, it's pretty hollow.

Hey people, I've just got a 3700X to go with my C6H and I cannot even get the thing to post with BIOS 7106, just keep getting Q-code 07.
Am I just screwed until a new BIOS release or is there something I can do?
    Thanks.

Same as me, but your CPU is at least listed as supported. You should chat with Asus support about it! Only way to make them fix this board is letting them know that even CPUs on the official supported list isn't working right!

Just curious, what else do you have in the system? =)

Hey, I've got a STRIX RX VEGA 64, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3200MHz C16 and a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO M.2 SATA, that's it for important stuff for booting anyways.

A few days ago I updated to the latest AMD chipset driver, latest Radeon drivers and then reset to default BIOS settings and then updated to the latest BIOS and all was still working well on my old 1700X, it's just the 3700X that doesn't want to know.

I've just unplugged the PC, pulled the CMOS battery out and held the power button down for 30 seconds and left the battery out for five minutes as per the request of the ASUS support rep I'm communicating with.
Put it all back together, still no POST and Q-code '07'

Just heard back from them after saying that didn't work, this was the response:
"Thank you for following up with us.

I understand this is inconvenient, however in this case we suggest you contact your retailer for advice on returns/replacement or any other options they can offer. As part of the sale process the retailer accepted that they would control all returns/replacement
on behalf of ASUS for the duration of the warranty. They should be able to sort this out for you. ASUS has no other policy on these devices; We cannot replace or repair these devices."

Will that even be worth doing seeing as it seems to be a BIOS issue (I think) and not a board issue (again, I think) surely I'll just get another board that doesn't work?

If Asus slices support from their dutys, they will soon see a massive decline in sales. Word spreads.

Not like they have to take back anything in this case, they just needs to issue a working bios as that is what AMD has promised!

Look at Gigabyte, people complained the X570 fan was audible, in just a few days new bioses was out correcting the issue.

Also, they communicate, they are even active on Reddit. Asus has someone pop in here a few times a year throwing a small bone. Why not tell us straight up these bioses are hard to get right, and we will wait a lot more patiently.

Or, if they have decided CHVI is abandonware, they have to tell that too. But it's still against AMD promise of backwards compatibility.
