Did you ever used the cpu 100% for over 5min at least? prime95, cinebench?

My 1800X never goes above 3.9Ghz with 1.38V. Except i disable cores or let some cores unused.
The voltage was actually set to 1.4v in the bios, but all sensor readings indicate its about 1.38. This happens even at stock auto volts where 1.35 is more like 1.32volts. Turning on EPU power saving drops it even more to like 1.3v. and yeah its stable surprisingly. Doesn't even matter what LLC is used. At first I thought it was strange, but now I no longer worry with it. Mostly because I only did a few times to do benchmarks. I'm not much of an OCer , that is why I bought a 1800X with an AIO, and not a say a 1700 so it could max itself out (usually about 4.15ghz) on single core in high performance power mode automatically.

Running 6004 bios with a 1700x. I am able to OC my memory to 3200 and it seems to work fine. OC* the 1700x to anything above stock and while the system seems stable (i.e., benchmarks, games, handbrake encodes, etc. all run fine), I can't get the system to resume from wake. Using 1701 bios, previously, I didn't have this problem.

*I have left the voltage at "auto" and just changed the multiplier.

Interesting. Downgraded to BIOS 3502 and don't have any problem with sleep/resume using the same (or as similar as possible) BIOS settings. Something seems slightly unstable in 6004, in comparison.

with 3008, I've hit 3333mhz on a 2x16GB kit of ram (F4-3200C16D-32GTZA) using 1.351V with 15-16-16-36-52 timings, I've gotten 3466mhz to work with 1.371v with 16-16-16-37-53 and a lot of massaging to the power control on the memory side, both cases was with 1.13V for the SOC, I've been able to replicate this with 3502. I've also gotten 3200mhz 14-14-15-34-49 using 1.351v to work with 3502 but 14-15 or 15-15 at this clock speed seems to be happier, also the system seems happier with 1.1V for the SOC with all messing around in 3502

Does anyone have an answer as to what the bios option "Mode 0" does? The only options are Auto, Enable, Disable.

EDIT: @Raja, @Elmor - what is the "Mode 0" bios option for? There is zero information to be found about it. Bios version am using is 6004.

You would probably get better results posting your question here:

    Bios 6004
Cause crashs at gaming, graphic bug, driver crash/restart (screen gets a second black) sometimes.
Changing graphic driver dont fix it.

That problem with crashing graphic driver appeared already with the bios 6001.

I change back to the bios 3502.

    System:
All info is at my profile.

    Edit:
I ve set the cpu core ratio back to auto and vcore to auto, after i got often the fan's turning at 100%.
Hwmonitor reports temps arround 80 while gaming (almost always 5-8core usage, game takes 4 + system + etc)

And im sure the temp is never reaching real 70°C. Only solution seems to buy a good watercooler.
