Ok, yes that answered my question. I was asking because I downloaded the BIOS from ASUS site, which shouldn't have beta BIOS downloads.
Only now after some week or two, I started thinking wait really? Because I'm using the 1501, successfully flashed and working - and I'm seeing that annoying text, also when posting I never see the real CPU speed, it's has always been that 3000MHz, RAM is only showing correct (I never use boot logos).

I'm running my rig maxed out. With the 1201 Bios and D.O.C.P (4) setting it allowed for 64Gig of RAM (4x16 Gig Sticks) to run at 3199 which is only 1 point below the advertised 3200 of the RAM. I don't care if you change the number but please make it an option again. See my specs for exact RAM I achieved this on.

I'd love to see whatever those settings were exactly in every form re-added the next BIOS and document it as a 4 Stick OC.

The 1201 BIOS was the only BIOS I've been able to achieve this without touching anything else in BIOS. I'd only select the D.O.C.P (4) and bingo all was golden. This has now been broken with every version since.

4 sticks of RAM profiles would be very welcome as well. 4x8GB and 4X16GB D.O.C.P's would be very nice.

I should be very happy then. I am running 64GB F4-3200C14 x4 and CPU 4.25ghz stable without any issues. I am on bios 1501 ��*

Update : upgraded to Vega64 and still able to run all this stable..

My thoughts on the 1501...
Till flashing to the latest Bios, I haven't had any Cold Boot issues.
Funny, that it should have the same behavior like 1403 but what can I say... Its working.
Will check, If there is any OC performance. Wanna try to get above 4,0 Ghz

Yup same thing here, restart will fix the fans back to normal. Hope Asus fixes this.

I have been having the same issue on 1501.
Previous Bios all was fine but now at random - I get stuck on full speed or low speed fans. Nothin I do will change the profile unless I reboot.
Also I have noticed a slight temp increase overclocking compared to 1403 bios. but that may be related to the fan issue.

I use 1401 bios which runs awesome @4ghz and stable with quirks if I run 4.1ghz

btw I run a custom Thermaltake core p5 with a single 480 rad set up

When is sleep gonna be fixed? It's riddiculus that its not available with that bios.

I dunno but have a feeling that the new bios will take time.
So many people are waiting for the new bios but I doubt that the ASUS team work for the new bios earnestly.
