i will tell you that you can get alot better then that at 4.1
by getting that ram clock speed as high as you can get it with moderately high timings and the right voltages on the imc....
you can really tweak the hell out of your score

i have a entire google+ page full of benchmark scores and other overclocking stuff....
i have some of the worst ram for Ryzen also ...but i can make things happen ....lol...
i cant wait till i get the ram i want in this build
its all about that infinity fabric man .....
i think that 1700x can do exactly what this 1800x can do ....

Hey Everyone, I am about to head out for an emergency call, Server down, (I bet the cleaning crew did something stupid again, lol). Anyways, I have been messing with my Build again all night before I got the call, and now that I have to go, I don't have time to tweak it some more. I figured I would ask you guys for pointers. I am trying to get as close to 4 Ghz as possible, without having to increase my voltage too high, and with my chip I seem to hit a wall at about 3990Mhz. I can do 3982 Pretty easily without going too much over 1.4V's though. I am also trying to get my Corsair LPX at as high of a Speed as possible with the lowest times possible. I thought I had something here, and then right before I got my call to head into work, I was almost 30 minutes into a Stability test with AIDA64, when My WHEA Errors started going up quickly, and then eventually it hard crashed. I played with it for a few minutes after, I tried bringing up the VDDSOC, The VCore, The DRAM Voltage, I tried lowering my timings on the Ram, then eventually lowered the Ram speed, it seemed like nothing helped, it started crashing in Cinebench all of the Sudden. I am at a loss as to what is happening.

I figured I would post my Cinebench, CPUID, And HWinfo Sensor Readings, and see if you guys can tear it apart for me, maybe give me some ideas of what to try. I already have a safe profile where I am just on 3982Mhz and 3200 on the Ram, with 1.395 On the Vcore that I use as my daily driver without issues, but I was hoping to squeeze some more IPC out by OCing the Ram a little higher and Tightening the Timings, that what I had done here, and you can see I got my best Cinebench Score yet, but then crazy unstability after 30 mins of AIDA64... So anyways, ideas welcome! Thank You! Here is the Screenshot...

with the errors starting after 30mins of aida i'd probably check for heat soak around the socket. increasing the voltages around this area might not be a good idea without an active fan. just something to think about. I remember being warned about this early on that's all. I can get 4.025 @ 1.395 and it uses the first power state like it would the boost function and takes two of my cores to 4.073. my only gripe atm is the fan controller jumping to 60+degrees as soon as the machine has been in sleep mode. if I turn the pc off instead, i'll have to spend 10minutes resetting the bios when I cold boot. this means I have to use sleep but restart my pc every single time it uses the function. please fix asus as fans go crazy at 69 degrees.

p.s. I just managed to clock all 32gb of b-die at 3466mhz up from 3333mhz. using proc odt

    Hi dudes,

I'm still on 1403 BIOS. Is it worth upgrading? Which BIOS would be best to use right now and what are the exact drawbacks of the newest BIOS? I'm Pstate overclocking btw, will this be affected?
