    SenseMi Skew enable is Bad

by the way. 3008 standard profile Flare X ram 3200MHz cl14 34 very good and 1800x processor 3.6 GHz.

I did not see the temperature difference in 3008. I did not look at the load but idle 22 or 32 c
SenseMi Skew enable results in rustle, a silent noise at my headset. the sound isnt clear anymore.
The temperature is now at 45~ degree @3,6ghz 1,2V, this would make sense.
Without SenseMi Skew its at 65~ degree @3,6ghz 1,2V.

But i cant live with this noise, then i prefer clear sound.
    I m using the onboard sound @32bit 192Khz with Sonic Studio 3.
Maybe i wouldnt have this problem with a soundcard?
Now this rustle dont disappear even if i enable, disable or set the SenseMi Skew Auto.

Now i ve fixed the noise problem, its back to clean sound.
Cmos reset = no fix, Bios reset = no fix, Software & driver uninstall and reinstall = fixed it.
I could try now enable SenseMi Skew and reinstall the sound software & driver .. and i did it.

SenseMi Skew enable works, temps are read correctly 100% load arround 43°C, sound is clean, CB test works without to freeze.
CB score is 1597 @3607mhz turbo disabled, smt on. i let SenseMi Skew enable.

Still on 3008 with C6H. Decided to play a little with ram timings. The ram calculator is fine and the memory presets are ok as well. Departed from all of that. Wanted to see what the bios would train the ram at. BCLK @100.4 | cpu multiplier 39.25 | ram used GSkill F4-3600C16-16GTZ 2x8GB | ram boot strap @ 3466. With all the ram timings on Auto, the bios initially trained the ram with 21-19-19-19-whatever. Mainly was after the tertiary timings and Trfc. After setting the main front timings to 15-15-15-15 and leaving the rest on Auto, let the bios train the ram again. Manually checked the timings with the listed XMP timings in ns from Typhoon Burner. Fair amount of the timings were spot on. Few interesting points were Tras, Trc, Twtrs, Tfaw, Trfc, Trdwr, and Twrrd. Only one of the tertiary timings changed (Twrrd). The rest remained the same including Tfaw and Trfc when the front timings were changed to 15-15-15-15 from 21-19-19-19. Tras and Trc went to 35 and 50 respectively. Trfc remained at 312 and Tfaw remained at 37. It was interesting to see that Twrrd did the opposite from what the ram calculator had it changing to. Twrrd went down to 2 from 3. The ram calculator wanted it at 4. Booted with the new bios provided values. Was amazed to see the latency according to Aida64 went down from 65.6 to 65.3. The bandwidth results were terrible. Remembered what the Stilt mentioned about Trdrd scl and Twrwr scl. Both those settings were provided by the bios at 7. Dropped those settings down to 2 and the bandwidth went back to the same ballpark. The latency remained at 65.3. Utilizing the bios provided values with only setting the front end to desired values resulted in lower latency and only nit picky lower differences on the bandwidth results.

The ram calculator is close but still not quite there. It wanted the tertiary timings Twrwr sd and Twrwr dd to go up to 8 while the bios provided value remained at 7. What this all boils down to is plug in the desired timing values for Tcl, Trcdwr, Trcdrd, and Trp and let the bios provide the rest. Then play with Trdrd scl and Twrwr scl (lowering these settings results in sizable gains in bandwidth). Playing with the other timings will only net a marginally small increase while wrecking havoc with stability not to mention worse latency. That is how it worked out for me.

I have this problem ever since I tried bios beta 3008 the system would crash because of the page file it would say page file was accessed with larger than or equal to it even did it on the bios i have now 3101. what i did was increast the page file too 16gb my system has 32gb of ram so far no crashes but is there any harm in having the page file that large?
in the event viewer when it did crash it said bugcheck event id 1001The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x00000000000018e0, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xfffff803ce67e028). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. That is what it looks like, based on the supports on the back side of the fan both facing the heatsink. Push-pull is usually the preferred method for dual fan coolers but to each their own.
