My 5900x works with CH6 but the cpu it's not listed as compatible, weird.

Ryzen 9 5900X is on the supported list for the 6 Hero, near the bottom (on the ASUS product support page).

Just want to say a big up to Asus for finally supporting Ryzen 5XXX series. I went and bought myself a 5900X because of this. Otherwise I would have kept my 3900X and waited for next gen MB's.

AMD should be thanking you really

Anyway I am happy.

AMD was the one to mix their "AM4 socket support" to "chipset support" and deny any Zen3 support on motherboards with AM4 sockets but with 300 series chipsets. Asus just had to comply.
So, no need to thank Asus, thank AMD for unbreaking their support promise.

Finally we have the official release Bios 8601

1. Update AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.7.
2. Improve system stability
3. Fix AMD fTPM issue causes random stuttering.

i'm update Bios 8601 for my Crosshair-VI-Hero

But my windows 10 random freezes
some time tdr failure nvlddmkm.sys
any one pls help me

2 time clean install my Windows 10

How can downgrade my bios

Have you tried to use bios renamer?

Clear CMOS, or remove the batery of the mobo?
