Yes, i have a Crosshair VI hero (not wi-fi); for the installation I updated the chipset drivers and the bios with the old processor (3900x), then I installed the new one; it works very well, the frequencies in single core reach 4.95 Ghz with PBO active in single thread; on cinebench I get similar results to online reviews. I am very satisfied considering that I can use a top cpu in 2022 on a motherboard purchased 5 years ago! Originally Posted by Charlie Woken

My 5900x works with CH6 but the cpu it's not listed as compatible, weird.

Just want to say a big up to Asus for finally supporting Ryzen 5XXX series. I went and bought myself a 5900X because of this. Otherwise I would have kept my 3900X and waited for next gen MB's.
