Will never buy asus motherboards going forward

I have purchased this board in March 2017.
But since the beginning i am facing numerous issues like other owners.
After purchasing a flagship model this not at all expected.
After AMD released new AGESA 1.0.0.6 all other brands fixed their support regarding RAM,TEMP etc.
It seems ASUS released their model early to compete others specially GIGABYTE. Even Asrock is performing well in term of AM4 CPU's and RAM frequency support. .
ASUS should have used their workforce to R&D instead of using consumers to do R&D and give feedback for future enhancements.

Although I have to install the next bios in an official version? Does the system take into account the version or release date to decide whether it is old or new?

    Angry

After using 9920 BIOS couple of days, I can clearly say that this is terrible and dangerous version.

1- My CPU temps are low and high on idle mode, you never know why it's going up or down.

2- I disabled/enabled SenseMiSkew. Both are same. Nothing happened, difference is almost none.

3- This morning my CPU temp was showing 28 Celcius. Which I surprised to see. I worked a lot today, after 12 hours I see that my temp is still showing 28 Celcius. That was weird. I opened AIDA Stress test. Guess what? My CPU is still 28 Celcius. It just stuck at there. Dangerous! No matter what you do, BIOS thinks it 28 Celcius and there is no alert of heating.

I checked ASUS website for BIOS, 9920 isn't even listed at there. I don't understand why.

Is it safe to go back BIOS 1403?

9920 is an untested bios version. It clearly says UNTESTED which you obviously would have seen when you downloaded it. I've been running 9920 and haven't had a single issue with it and it fixed the multiplier bug I had. Temps are within reason after setting SenseMi offset as stated in 9920 release notes.

Where does it say UNTESTED exactly? First post doesn't say anything about it.

    * Improved DRAM cold boot, results in slightly longer POST time
    * Fix for CPU Ratio stuck at 22x on some CPUs when using Vcore override/offset
    * SenseMi Skew is now Disabled by default. If you want to return to previous behavior set SenseMi Skew = Enabled and Offset = 272.
    * Added DRAM profiles for Samsung B-based DIMMs with tuned subtimings, including The Stilt's settings
Don't remember where it said untested but clearly say beta right here
