stuck on splash screen

Looks like the bios is not biting well with my set up. After finding out about the flashback option I have tried all three bios updates available now. that's 0902, 1001, and 0038. Prior to these I had a constant vram qcode (61). Now I get to the bios splash screen, but it wont recognise any keyboard presses (f2 or del).

My system
Asus crosshair VI
1 stick of 16GB (3200mhx) corsair vengeance DDR4 CMU32GX4M2C3200C16B. Also treid some low latency 3000mhz but did really expect any result from this.
msi 1080
Corsair strafe silent keyboard (also tried a g15)
everything else removed.

I have tried all memory slots.

Looking forward to more bios updates. I have a week before I rma this setup.

Tried plugging and unplugging the keyboard WHILE the PC is running. When overclock fails on mine or I clear CMOS I have to unplug and plug the keyboard while the system is on for the keyboard to work.

EDIT: Try lower frequency my 3000mhz wasnt posting until 2666mhz; when you can get into bios that is.

I realised that it isn't the keyboard that is the issue it a failed post. I misread the qcode error as PO when really it is upside down and reading 06. It is stuck transferring microdata. I will have to wait for updates.

As it happens I have already tried this as well 😛

thanks anyways
