ROG Front Base Panel

Finally after lot of research found a solution uninstall ROG CONNECT,ROG CONNECT PLUS,FRONT BASE DRIVER reboot the machine FIRST
1.Install ROG CONNECT PLUS DRIVER-SETUP.exe after installation it will ask to reboot the machine after reboot
2.Installl ROG CONNECT DRIVER-AsusSetup.exe Dont install setup.exe after installation reboot the machine
3.Install FRONT BASE DRIVER-AsusSetup.exe Dont install setup.exe it will show ROG Front Base - Fail to install IO driver after installation reboo the machine now everything works like a charm

Hm... viewing your specs y noticed you have a RAMPAGE board and NOT the Crosshair VI HERO.
if this is true you are posting in the wrong channel... this one is for the CROSSHAIR VI HERO.
was so happy to see a solution near for us. so the only thing we can do is wait that asus updates the drivers that supports finaly this Front Base.
Hurry up guys... hehe

I cannot beleve Asus doesnt update the firmware to use this nice front base.....

if I were a manager at asus id be sacking a few people right about now. surely there is someone who can see the benefit of having this product work. this product which is still being sold needs to have a warning sticker - NO compatability with new motherboards!!!!!!!!

So reply came with ASUS : I'm sorry to inform you that the Crosshair VI Hero does not support the Front Base. The ROG_EXT connector is only for the OC Panel and OC Panel II. This is also mentioned in the Manual of the motherboard at page 1-27.So, hoping to later, it will support.

At the moment the panel without the dedicated software that does not work on the C6H only shows temperatures and RPM. We hope in future developments

hi just wanted to know if there was any news on the updates yet I wanted to put my old front panel on my new crosshair vi hero board getting the same issue as others runs fan speed but carnt edit nothing and no time hope they update this soon as like this panel don't want the oc 2 panel

Unfortunately, we don't have any new updates for and yes we understand that since this product is still being sold that it should support for all latest current generation motherboards. However, since it's an older product, the resource priority will always be on the latest products first. I'll follow up on this again and will update when there is new information available. Well....I'll wait another month and if asus doesn't update the compatibility of your "ROG" product I'll sold mine and never more Asus. Anyway thx for have informate us....
