ye i would like to know if this is a common problem since i talked to RMA department and they want me to send it in. but i would like to know that it's just a software patch via bios update... since its just a pain to send the MB if u dont have another gaming rig...

A couple of things you can try:

1) Enable ErP in UEFI. Or you can try number 2.

2) Try setting the standby effects to off via the Aura software: Click on the "Independent" tab, then select off from the list and click apply.

would you look at that. skipped to 2nd step and that worked apparently you have to set it to off there not sure what the bios setting does but at least it works now. thanks if only the damn RMA support had this easy fix...
