Issues With realbench at stock speeds.

I was giving realbench a go while i was overclocking, but the luxmark software keeps crashing and i dont see to find out why. That was a 4.7ghz so i assumed it could be unstable and i tried testing it with the stock settings but im still seeing the crash im not sure whats causing i been trying to find information but nothing gives a clear answer.

No im not, it came OC from factory and it just using the gputweakII game mode preset, but even when i close it it stills happening, i was trying to do manual Oc since people tell its better than 5 way optimization, but i cannot test for stability since this keeps crashing any ideas? its a strix 1080 OC

Are you using the latest version of Realbench? And is your NVIDIA driver updated the latest version?

well when i got version 2.54RC2 dont know if it the latest, i got it from a mediafire link on the realbench thread since when i try to download it it just downloads a corrupt 900kb file as for the nvidia driver i use ddu to clean install the newest one the problem still persist, also im doing the steps on your oc guide it just that it cant pass realbench. I Oc again with 5way optimization and i got stable 4.7 and it passes on most benchmarking programs except on the realbench stress test seems weird.

Don't take it seriously, RB is known to have problems because of many possibilities.
Since you have OC'd the OS it is probably broken and needs a fresh reinstall.
Also make sure you run in performance mode, no screen savers, no other hardware interactive tools are running.

Have you tried the test that fails on it own ? Does it work for you ?

well i ran from heaven to 3dmark also did intel diagnostic tools a memtest86 and everything passed just fine it just seems realbench that its picky also i reinstalled the os twice due to me trying to pinpoint a freeze problem which turns out to be the bluetooth when its connected to a xbone controller and now i noticed the strix 1080 artifacts when its put into OC mode on gputweak2 but its completely fine when its in gaming mode, right now im oc again via aisuite3 but even at stock settings realbench doesn't seem to pass maybe its a gpu problem.

Hey! I was facing the same issue as you at stock speed. No OC. And luxmark would crash causing instability detected from Realbench. After researching on the internet, I realise my problem was because I had HWMonitor AND MSI Afterburner opened at the same time.

Subsequently, when I run realbench, I only keep HWMonitor open and no longer use MSI Afterburner, Realbench 2-hour stress test passed for stock and OC speeds!

    Hope this helps!!

im gonna try it, and see what happens i dont use hwmonitor but i do have aisuite and gputweak open but i believe my gpu is dying it started showing artifacts on games so i may need to RMA and that could be the reason for the crash.
