My Maximus IX Code has a broken off jack stuck in the green input port on the Motherboard. I have no idea how to get it out. It’s about 3/8 “ from flush. Help!!

It was a fluke. I knocked a speaker off my desk and it hit just right or just wrong and now I have this problem. I found tweezers small enough to get in the port, but then I can’t get them on the piece of the jack. The only good thing is that it’s the green port and the one on the face of the case is too. I plugged the green in on the front and the orange & black in the ports on the back. Sound is great. I still need to get that piece of jack out, but it’s not urgent unless it messes something up. Any ideas???

Yea np Nate, system looks good for "Desktop Mode" but just need a 1080Ti to complete it.

Depending on the model case you have alot of the time those ports can be removed from the case, either way you may go in from the backside and push it out with a straight pin. That if you cannot get a very fine tipped needle nose plier on whats left in there to pull it out from the front. Always more than one way to skin a cat in the PC world.

I’ll try the needle idea first. If that doesn’t work, I’ll get the gripstick. I’m sure somebody with an iPone will need it. THANKS again
