Here's a little bit of \Watch Dogs 2 Bounty Hunter.

This is kinda tough but fun, you have the police and real players after you. The action doesn't start until you connect with a player.

The object is to kill as many real players in a row as you can.

I need a little guidance. I've had my Maximus IX Code up and running for about a month. I've had som drive issues, but unrelated to the mb. I have the update program and it insists that I update the bios to 0801 or 0906, I'm running 0701. Is there any reason why I should update to either? I'm not over clocking and don't plan on it. Input?
    Thanks

    Hey Stonecold5201

Good to hear all is well with your Maximus IX Code.

It may be telling you to update for compatibility reasons and I would update the bios to see if you still get the message.

You can do it in the bios on the Tool tab with EZ update.

Click via internet then click DHCP, it looks like an earth globe and the update process begins. Just make sure there are no thunderstorms or power is not cut when updating the bios, it might be a good idea to put the bios on a usb stick to be safe if anything does go wrong.

Let me know how it goes.

I always keep my bios up to date, ESPECIALLY when we are talking about the first bios that was issued with the board. There is gonna be major updates to features and stability fixes for both cpu and ram etc.

The first thing I did with my formula when I opened it up was pop my usb stick with new bios in the rear port and flash bios. My system was never even powered on with factory bios.

I understand where you're coming from, but I'm of the old fashioned "If ain't broke, don't fix it" school of thought. My setup is running fine and I've followed the discussions (whining, complaining) about new bios, in particular, the 0906. I really don't want to create problems where none exist. I'm using the Asus EZUpdater program, it came with the Asus driver disk, and I just don't see issues, but I may be missing out on features. You guys have much more experience with this set up than I do so, taking what I just said into consideration, guidance, please.

Each and every bios update will have improvements. There are no serious bugs (if any) to worry about, I suspect there will be even yet another update coming down the pipeline soon

Anyone know if there's any trick to getting "overclocking temperature control" to work? The CPU frequency changes as expected but the voltage doesn't change over from the main BIOS setting (1.34v in my case) to the oc temp control one (1.27v as I've set it).
