I am using a program called CorsairLink which monitors temperatures, fan speeds, devices, etc. Every time I start it up the bios shuts down my system and when it reboots the bios reports that it shut down to protect my system because it detected power surges. I have read on the Corsair forum that if I disable anti surge support in the bios it will no longer shut down my system. I am a bit uncomfortable doing that and instead disconnected the USB cable from the Corsair power supply. Everything works but of course the CorsairLink software does not see the power supply.
Am I worrying needlessly about disabling the bios anti surge support?
