Why G800VI cancelled?

Any official comments or any news regarding G800VI? Not everyone can pay almost 10k for GX800 and it is simply not mobile enough to carry.

How is the GX800 any less portable than the G800? It isn't permanently attached to the dock and can run on air cooling via internal fans. In general a 17.3-18.4 inch that is around 4 kilos/9 pounds isn't seen as easily portable to most.

Do they sell without dock? I think no. So it still increases the price quite a lot. And I dont know how many fans in GX800 but if is only 1 for a SLI option, I dont think that we can get a decent perfomance with decent temperatures.*

I believe that G800VI is a must product.

Also, I am seeing the GX800 on Amazon for 6K, not 10k. I found one listing for the G800VI that had a price for around 4.5k, but I have no way to tell if that was legitimate or not. If you are spending 4.5k on a laptop is another 1.5k really the dealbreaker? Either way I would hardly call it a must product. That is in the price range of "Eh, we made it because we can and some people might buy it, but this was really just to generate buzz about our brand." like Acer's Predator. Some people say that a 21" curved screen laptop with SLI 1080s and a mechanical keyboard is a must, but it didn't stop Acer from making just 300 of the thing.
