    Looks pretty, doesn't it.

Kuno7 posted an XTU score of 1145 with 7600K and Mystic1 posted an X265 score of 7.93 with 7700K. We still need more in these stages.

Chino also posted in the x265 stage 4.41 with 6500K.

Participation is picking up. There's still room for more - many slots to fill and then there's room for improving scores. A little competition never hurt (still want someone to beat my ref clock score.)

More x265 scores have filled in today and XTU is looking good, but this is not the time to quit.

Our former first place in the Reference Clock stage has fallen to third. The low score in that stage - mine - needs to be beaten to raise the team average.

I was chasing down your scores, only to have the Italians crush everyone. It's pretty clear to stay competitive, a team needs a REX x48, a P5 P45 variant, and any third board in the 450 range. I suspect there's an obscure chipset that will break 600 and not conflict with x48 and P45, it's kinda fun, like a hardware scavenger hunt.*

There is a custom bios available for Strix 1080 that has no power target and allows a little higher voltage, some people have flashed this bios to other cards as-well with mixed results, if flashed to a different card the first displayport port is disabled as the Strix has a different port layout then standard cards. The bios allowed me to bench at 2151mhz without throttling, some cards hit over 2200mhz but not mine. The only other soft mod that I know of is the LM on the shunt resistors, which lowers the read TDP tricking the card into not throttling, I have tried that method but if your using a chiller it doesn't help much

Topyoyoguybest: You have the right of that. We have the x48 score and need a P45 or the like.

More importantly, we need 3 scores to fill out the average. Right now we have to use z270 and z170 for the team to have all 3. I have a z270 score of 440 in my pocket. If I post that as it is, the existing z270 score would be beaten and my top entry would overcome the z170 score. The team score would go down. We really need another score and p45 or the like would be wonderful.

Meankeys: I believe the T4 BIOS allows greater voltage adjustments to tweak the 1080. My ineligible 1080 gets over 9200 in TimeSpy when the voltages are done right.

Mystic6: I hope you are following this thread. Thanks for the contest entries, especially XTU and x265. One thing, though. Please edit your x265 entry to add a picture of your rig.

The P35/G33/G31 chipset does not conflict with the high score Menthol already submitted with X48.

You are most welcome to join the ASUS Republic of Gamers team on HWBOT, then submit scores on the stage page of the contest.

Be sure to visit the ROG OC Showdown contest page at HWBOT and download the required background for the screenshot. I'm afraid you'll have to rerun with the correct background even if you don't try to coerce it any more. The rest of the validation and verification are done correctly.

The team also needs enthusiast league members in stage 2 of the contest, which runs the HWBOT x265 4K benchmark.
NP . Will do subs for sure and she has more to give . HWBOT x265 4K I'll do on the R7 1700 .
