POST test without a CPU cooler?

Stupid question: I understand that it's wise to do a POST test before installing everything into the case. Is it OK to do this without going to the trouble of installing the AIO CPU cooler? Thanks.

Usually the CPU will get too hot and not allow boot.

No. Don't risk killing your CPU. If you don't want to go through the hassle of installing your AIO, buy a cheap Intel stock cooler for testing.

OK, thanks.
