Just in case...I'll point out that comparing scores is only possible at same cache speed. Cache OC has a big effect on AIDA memory scores...

And next to zero impact on realworld performance

    That is very usefull Arne!

1st because it ends a useless effort to get high Aida scores.

2nd because I can stop trying! Since the latest 1503 BIOS for RV10E I cannot even touch Cache multi. Before I had it everywhere I wanted: 38x, 40x... Maybe they removed it due to no long term stability? (i could agree on that) ...

AIDA doesn't really show score there, it's the bandwidth and latencies. It does have impact in real life, but not in the amount you'd expect from the numbers simply because not all memory applications use bandwidth at it's fullest. AIDA measures highest practical throughput, nothing more.

Btw, 5GHz is quite a lot there. What voltage you're keeping it at??

practical or theorical? Sounds like economical report! Just kidding.
I also wonder about the Voltage of Arne's RAM, he has very thight timings there!

Arne's RAM was at 1.375v there but Arne has since moved to a kit with 14-14-14 timings at 1.35v so things improving slightly on RAM front...not as much as I would like...this kit does 13-13-13 at 1.375

5.0 above was at just under 1.4v...good CPU that's all...cache at 1.3....only for short benching runs...certainly not a 24/7 OC

I use AIDA for looking at the results of tweaking timings i.e. for comparing with my own scores and seeing what works and what doesn't tuning second and third timings...

What CPU erixx11? If you are on Broadwell E there was hardly any cache room anyway right?

I'm still on 0901...works well for me so not changed so far....

Running 2600 at 13-13-13-33 1T here on "only" 1.35V and works without problems. Getting to about 73k read GBps on slow 3,9GHz cache/4,2GHz CPU- Click image for larger version.

Yes, correct. Forgot that it changed at that point (BCLK oc).

Well mate, just wow and just thanks for all the help you post here. I have spend endless nights tunning and things work very good one session and the next day you get a MACHINE CHECK error on boot. I have a 6850K and I think my previous 5850K allowed me cache of 40x (I have screenies) but now I have to settle around 32X. Without increasing cache multi all the RAM results in Aida are more or less the same regardless of primary and secondary timings. I have 32 GB of Trident Z 3866mhz. ... running them at 14-14-14-32 and 1,35 voltage now.
As you say use Aide to look at differences. But a top score not always means a fluid Windows desktop or Office experience.

    have a nice Sunday!
