Hi SinartNZ
Thanks for your comments.
I changed to the Samsung NVMe driver and here are the results:
Considerably less on the Sequential Read. What do you think that means.?
Those Cinebench scores are from a GTX 1080Ti and probably with it OCed.
I have the GTX 1080 Hybrid at stock. Not such an outrageous performer I know.Last edited by MeanMachine; 04-13-2017 at 08:45 AM.

I definitely recommend the Samsung NVMe drivers to people. I've got a 960 pro and forgot to install the Samsung drivers for the first week or so I had it set up. CrystalDiskMark showed a significant, consistent increase in speeds after switching to the Samsung drivers. 20%+ in some of the individual tests.
And that read speed variance is normal. I get as much as a 2GB difference sometimes in my magician results.Last edited by BaneSilvermoon; 04-13-2017 at 07:45 AM.

MeanMachine: Nice review. As I like to "tinker" I also have my 1800x on my Asus C6H OC'd to 4 Ghz. I tweaked the vcore settings after much experimentation and so far I'm solid.
First I have custom cooling via an EK AM4 EVO Supreme block and 2-360 slim rads so plenty of cooling capacity. Second, I have the beta 081 BIOS, which per poster "majestynl" on Overclocker.net might be the same as the next release BIOS. He uses Pstates as his OCing type but I use a slightly different setup. I use D.O.C.P. standard as I have the new FlareX DDR4-3200 CL14 ram and it sets all the parameters AND runs in 3200 mode. Next at majestynl's suggestion I set vcore at offset mode and add .06825 vcore at the additional line and set my LoadLineC setting to LLC2. I upped the ram vcore slightly from 1.35 to 1.36. I also set my Vsoc to 1.15v.
My vcore when stressed with Aida64 (own licensed version) never exceeds 1.43 and per CPU monitor pro it never exceeds 1.42. Temps are a few degrees lower BUT you have a very good AIO.
I think the auto vcore setting for the Asus C6H is a tad high when running at 4 Ghz so working to tweak it down while remaing stable is worthwhile.
BTW, also via majestynl's recommendation he uses for a basic stress test the following:
IBT 10 passes Standard
RealBench stresstest 15-30 minutes
AIDA64 stresstest 15 minutes
AIDA Bench Memory
Cinbench15.
Finally as to RealBench problems, make sure you have the correct download installed. I have the latest, 2.54.
Good luck.Last edited by skline00; 04-13-2017 at 03:17 PM.

Hi skline00
and thanks for your comments and tips. My initial results were just to achieve stability at 4.0GHz. I left things mostly on Auto with one run using the Auto OC which clocked the system to 4.2GHz but defaulted my RAM to 2133MHz. More Tweaking to come and I will try your recommendations. Thanks
I just did my first Realbench stress test and benchmark and here are my results:
I tried to save the .rbr file to upload to the Leaderboard however, it was grayed out with a message "Unable to parse System Specs" and to report it here on the Forum.
Hopefully something will be done about that shortly. Anyhow Score wise not bad for first try me thinks.Last edited by MeanMachine; 04-13-2017 at 10:08 AM.

Flare X 3200 has no issues with a 14 cas and all OEM settings. 1800X tops out around 4125 with stability in mind. I am running a very extreme EKwb loop and all temps are way below a stock air/frequency setup, however it seems the chip is not capable of going further. At a speed of 4125 the chip uses 1.48-1.52v. A manual setting of 1.48 in Bios (0083) will work for stability, but CPUZ will show random jumps to 1.52 // Validation for more info: http://valid.x86.fr/s04nxl
I was able to get several chips and a pair of CH6's on launch so I've tried just about everything. I'm almost ready to ship one of these out to the customer who is funding this adventure, unless Elmor has something dramatic to provide in the very near future. And CB15 has always given me at least 1825 [Voltage concerns aside] But with an overkill loop It really does not concern me. And as a side note SOC voltage, RAM vboot voltage, and RAM Voltage seems crucial to provide stability and proper boot.

Thank you for your input aeonconcepts.
My original report and tests were all at stock Bios settings without an OC. I have now tried a modest OC and here are the results.
Increasing BCLK did the trick for 4.2GHz. Trying to use the multiplier to get the same failed for some reason.
AIDA64 test ran for 10mins and temps reached 81C. I'm not comfortable with that however I doubt it will ever reach that temperature during most usage and with the Core voltage at 1.504V I'll slowly drop the voltage in 0.010 steps till its unstable and see how she goes temp wise.
Man talk about rinse and repeat.
I feel I have the sweet spot but the platform is not stable enough as yet to go higher however, I think I have a good chip and MB. Just got to get my head around this Bios.We owe our existence to the scum of the earth, Cyanobacteria

After further Bios Tweaks and using HWInfo, Vcore now set to 1.48V. I feel more comfortable with temps at 28.5C on CPU (Tdie) sensor for everyday use and Aida64 maxed out at 64C during the test.
CPUz has Validated
What I found interesting is my GTX 1080 and Hydro Cooling. I used Furmark 1.18.2 benchtest and to my surprise my temperatures never went over 46C at ambient 25C. I wanted to see results with CPU at stock 3.6GHz
Living in a hot summer climate, I find this really good and worth the investment. EVGA have not let me down.
Results are reasonable considering no OC from default.
Next to see some Gaming results. We owe our existence to the scum of the earth, Cyanobacteria
