Agreed; the only use is to report the CPU temp correctly...

Aida64 reports the cpu diode temps right ......but in aida64 preferences/corrections you still have to add the -20 degree correction to the cpu
and in aida64 i do not know for sure but i think when they call this cpu temp ...is actually the cpu socket temp my temp gun matches perfectly to the cpu socket temp that aida64 reports after applying that correction to what is labeled just CPU in aida64
aida64 has applied a fix to the cpu diode temp so it is reading correctly with no need to add a correction rule....
but you have to have the full version and sub to updates....and download the beta version for this fix ...i do believe ....
they might have posted a new one with updated fixes and the updated items added....
they added the old mighty 7700k into the benchmark stats which is nice to have there
63999
64000
my ambient temps are 18.2C

Use HWiNFO, example of sensors.

HWiNFO rocks IMO. It shows tCTL , socket, etc, etc. You can customise layout, rename/hide sensors, etc, etc.

Sample image of my setup. IMO the ULTIMATE monitoring app  .

thats the sensor panel under the aida64 screenshot .... that sensor panel is totally customizable in aida64.....its the biggest reason i pay for aida64
its awesome ...some of the sensor panels i have seen blow mine away as far as being cooler then that....so many things you can do in it man its insane
hwinfo is childs play next to that sensor panel
