GL702VM Keyboard backlight not working

Hi guys my keyboard backlight doesn't turn on, was working last week but not now.

I tried to reinstall ATK package without results

Any idea? The Caps Lock and Power button leds are working and Fn keys too!

Can be the cable ? The BIOS?

UPDATE:


1- Check your drivers

2- Check if the backlight cable is ok and working (I posted how to) and the mobo connector

3- It's not very common but could be the bios

This is my backlight cable, easy to access because is visible when you remove the back cover


Use a 3V battery, I made my with two AAA batteries in series and two pieces of cable.


Put one cable on the left of the ribbon and the other one on the right, if not working change the +/-. In other words invert the cables

Anyone knows if this white things are buyable or can be obtained from another mobo?
