Just bought the board new and have whent though every thing to try to get past ff and dram lit but when i press the memeok i get a blink8ng vga light i have resseated the cpu and ram running only ram cpu and no cmos battery still no post is the bios bad? Bios rev is 2201

Hi op117

Install the cmos battery, if you have a pcie gpu try installing it.

I get the same results with a gpu and cmos battery in stalled was trying to find the problem but i think my boards bad

What type hard drive are you using, sata, m.2? I don't see one of those connected either.

Updated bios and still no change
Called asus and thy said used a qvl ram and if it doesn't work rma time

FuryA@ASUS - I don't think his pc is working at the moment and one thing I should have asked was his complete pc specs.

op117 - What ram kit do you have now and what other kit did you get ?
