For those curious:
A month ago I had a 502VS i6 1070 and it had the battery issue so I returned it. Now I have the 502VS i7 1070 (120hz) with bios 301 and battery issue seems to be gone, but I'm able to show 3DMark results (Time Spy) of both.
All results are "out of the box" not overclocked.
Here is the 502vs-7700HQ 1070 vs the 502vs-6700HQ 1070
Also, here is 502vs-7700HQ 1070 vs a desktop i7-7700k 1070 (Alienware Aurora R6, good machine and not over inflated)
Finally, the 502vs-7700HQ 1070 vs desktop i7-7700k 1080 (iBuyPower unit, returned when the GPU burned out in 20 days (was a good brand))
