Awesome builds guys! Really nice to see everyone's personal touch.
I'm still waiting for a few things, sleeved cables another SSD, especially a new graphics card but I'm holding out to see what happens when Vega comes out. Although I'm up and running, I'm no longer using the stock cooler and tried my H80i V2 that I got from a previous build to compare temps. However I can say the stock cooler could hold it's own at 3.8Ghz 1.35v . My build isn't complete yet...but it's functional

Here's a few shots for now. (I'll add a few more tomorrow)

Nice case Mason. I preferred the case color scheme of the gray/blue Genome, but wanted the aura compatibility of the ROG case. The red on my case still bugs me a bit.

Nice wire management under the back panel too. Mine doesn't look as neat if you look at it from that side.

So I got the DeepCool Dukase V2 in white and for the $60 odd dollars I paid for it I'm impressed. I've never owned a case with an actual space for cable management so although this one BEGS for sheathed cable extensions for the GPU, it's still the cleanest computer I've ever built.

I went with a "patriotic" red, white and blue theme for something different. Here's some initial shots and I'll try to do something better after I clean up the work area, lol -- I just moved all the debris out of the way to get a couple of shots.

The front door is nice. I wanted to keep my blue NZXT fan controller, my hot-swappable SATA drive bay, and my card reader so I needed a case with external slots. The fact that it has a PSU shroud is amazing at this price point.

It looks a lot less pink in person -- shows more red.

    Thanks!

Simple for reasons of cost and my lack of experience building a "modern" looking rig. You gaming guys always have sci-fi looking systems and you may be looking at yours differently -- but your system and others here look like sci-fi props to me and I love it. A "mess" is not always an ugly thing -- sometimes it works.

Also I'm a little paranoid of water right now -- something about the rig being so new I think. Now my old i7-3770K was an older mobo, processor, case, etc and if something leaked it would be a huge PITA -- but it didn't matter so much so it went under an AIO. For me right now air seems "safer" and I know it's probably not an issue but it was on my mind. Further down the road I can see a DeepCool Captain or some other wild looking cooler being added maybe.

I think I'm unlikely to get into a custom loop but you never know... sometimes the "bug" just bites on some things.

i have had not much experience with water cooling at all either all this water cooling gear i have now is my first ....
before this i wuz stuck on using AIO's until i got stuck trying to get 5ghz work stable in gta v when it came to pc ....5ghz on my 8350 ran so nice on a h100i
at 1.500 vcore voltage....but in gta v i had to up the vcore to 1.550 for some reason ...i don't know...lol
so that led me to get a new AIO the h100i-gtx within the first week the gtx pump started to leak .....
i wanted to connect the h100i and the h100-gtx rads together and use the h100i pump/block....but shyed away from it
till i met a freind of mine on the net who talked me into doing it....o man what fun that wuz ...there wuz a trick to doing it and making it work
but i got it going and at 1.55vcore and 5.05 ghz i wuz sitting at a 28 to 31 core idle temp.....
after seeing this i started saving and buying the water gear i got now .....and it all cost about 1400 just for everything i needed to run 3 loops
it is more addicting custom water cooling then it is building pc's to me ...
i love tech ...i love building pc's and troubleshooting the issues...making them work faster then they should ...and when you add a custom loop to your build
it is just more building and more thought into your build ....but the payoff is the look you get when done ....
and even better when people and friends of the family see your build for the first time ...lmao..their eyes get as big as door knobs!!
there is not alot of this type of building going on in the town i live in ....wish i had the money to open a tech shop and learning center for pc's ...it would be awesome ....
