MAXIMUS VIII Hero boot issue - URGENT

Hi all,

I decided for creating this thread so maybe someone had the same issue with this MOBO.

My problems started with some death blue screens during games. After that I'm no able to boot using either USB, DVD, or SDD(C:). The only time I was able to reinstall windows, was after taking out the CPU and putting it back in again. After fews days it crashed again and now, nothing seems to be be working. Please check below some more details about what I have been doing troubleshooting it.

Specs
I7 - 6700K 4.00GHz
16GB (Dual Channel Kit) 3200MHz DDR4
Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB - 2.5-Inch SATA III

Error details

- Booting via USB, q code is Ad (ready to boot event) before the PC restarts over
- Booting via DVD, q code is also Ad (ready to boot event) and it does not restart. Sometimes, death blue screen
- Booting via SDD C:, q code is 61(NVRAM initialization) and it does not restart

CPU Test

Using the IPDT application to check CPU, all passed but there is the warning below. I have already loaded optmal settings, reset CMOS and disabled Turbo mode, but it is the same.

--- Reading CPU Frequency ---
Expected CPU Frequency is --> 4.00GHz
Detecting CPU Frequency ...
Detected CPU Frequency --> 5.3332

CPU Frequency Test Passed with Warning!!!
The processor frequency could be affected by power management features. In
order to ensure the processor frequency is not affected by a power management
setting, enter BIOS, load defaults, and disable any 'Over-Clocking' or power
management features that may affect processor frequency. Also, set any
software applications which control power management features to default.

Other details
- The BIOS is up to date with version 3401
- I did reset CMOS and took out MOBO battery already
- I use a memory kit (2x8gb 3200MHX), and I have tested with one or two, and any slot possible
- There is no bent pin in the MOBO

Any idea? I think I will open RMA to CPU and MOBO

Is this a new build? Please list the make, model, and age of your PSU.

Not sure why that test is registering your CPU frequency at 5.33GHz.
You may have a short, also suggest checking all power & mobo connections.
Intel i9 10850K@ 5.3GHz
ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E
Corsair H115i Pro XT
G.Skill TridentZ@ 3600MHz CL14 2x16GB
EVGA RTX 3090 Ti FWT3 Ultra
OS: WD Black SN850 1TB NVMe M.2
Storage: WD Blue SN550 2TB NVMe M.2
EVGA SuperNova 1200 P2
ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601

This build is 9 months old, it was working perfectly and started crashing during games suddenly.

The PSU is a EVGA SuperNOVA 850 B2 80+ BRONZE, 850W Semi Modular.

All connections were checked, that is why I took everything out of my case, and put on that improvised bench test.

Thanks

Update your video card drivers.

There is not boot, so this is not an option.

Take out 1 memory module at a time and reboot your computer. If it boots at one point you know you have a bad memory stick. If not try to move your memory stick to another slot. If it boots one of your memory slots are broken and you must RMA your motherboard or replace it with a new. Remember if you use 2 memory module you must use memory slot 1A and 1B

Are you using rl cooling, or stock one?. Check if the cooler is well attached to the sock.
