Hi all,
I decided for creating this thread so maybe someone had the same issue with this MOBO.
My problems started with some death blue screens during games. After that I'm no able to boot using either USB, DVD, or SDD(C:). The only time I was able to reinstall windows, was after taking out the CPU and putting it back in again. After fews days it crashed again and now, nothing seems to be be working. Please check below some more details about what I have been doing troubleshooting it.
SpecsI7 - 6700K 4.00GHz
16GB (Dual Channel Kit) 3200MHz DDR4
Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB - 2.5-Inch SATA III
Error details- Booting via USB, q code is Ad (ready to boot event) before the PC restarts over
- Booting via DVD, q code is also Ad (ready to boot event) and it does not restart. Sometimes, death blue screen
- Booting via SDD C:, q code is 61(NVRAM initialization) and it does not restart
CPU TestUsing the IPDT application to check CPU, all passed but there is the warning below. I have already loaded optmal settings, reset CMOS and disabled Turbo mode, but it is the same.
--- Reading CPU Frequency ---
Expected CPU Frequency is --> 4.00GHz
Detecting CPU Frequency ...
Detected CPU Frequency --> 5.3332
CPU Frequency Test Passed with Warning!!!
The processor frequency could be affected by power management features. In
order to ensure the processor frequency is not affected by a power management
setting, enter BIOS, load defaults, and disable any 'Over-Clocking' or power
management features that may affect processor frequency. Also, set any
software applications which control power management features to default.
Other details- The BIOS is up to date with version 3401
- I did reset CMOS and took out MOBO battery already
- I use a memory kit (2x8gb 3200MHX), and I have tested with one or two, and any slot possible
- There is no bent pin in the MOBO
Any idea? I think I will open RMA to CPU and MOBO
