Asus rog should create an Asus rog 1080 ti with extreme overclocking headroom like evga kingpin edition but maybe partner with der8auer. Asus rog should make a rog ssd with extreme performance and capacity like the Samsung 4tb evo ssd but faster and 5tb or more storage. Asus should add auto gpu overclocking in ai suite 3. Asus should make an extreme performance network card for extreme wireless performance.

improving upon ssd performance increases the price insanely, a 5tb ssd with better performance than a samsung evo would cost thousands like the Intel DC P3608 at $8900 and is still only 4tb.

Asus rog should make an antivirus software to protect pcs from viruses that is ether free or only a one time payment is required for unlimited usage on multiple pcs.

Thanks for your feedback, it's definitely nice to hear some new ideas. With ROG SSDs, kind of the same case with chassis, we don't really specialize in this part and the flash storage market is very competitive and one of the reasons why we have stopped offering RAIDr products. Auto OC options are definitely being looked into for GPUT2 and extreme performance network cards will probably surface sometime in the near future.

Asus should have a custom pc building service where customers choose the parts they want in their pc and Asus builds it and ships it to them. Also can Asus please post a skylake x overclocking article.

Intel DC P3608 (8xPCIe3.0 NVMe) SSDs ain't really that great, lol. Seagate Nytro XP7200 (16xPCIe3.0 NVMe) SSDs are faster, bigger, better, and cheaper. Intel is not a leader in enterprise storage technology, only in enterprise storage sales. Many companies buy Intel just because it's Intel. Samsung, Crucial/Micron, and SanDisk all offer SSDs equivalent to the DC P3608 at lower prices.

To be fair, these are the very fastest enterprise drives available. Many "lesser" enterprise drives are available at more "affordable" prices (comparable to Samsung 960 prices, anyhow). Just because technologically better products are sold to large organizations doesn't mean they have to be sold at lower prices to individuals - if you want enterprise gear you pay enterprise prices. A big part of the pricetag is the service and support that comes with, and the corporate hardware support is a lot more productive when dealing only with "qualified" and professional IP/IT people instead of with every random angry customer who demands their $8K hardware (along with their Windows boot problem or their underperforming Corsair memory or whatever) gets fixed right now. And it's never in Intel's (or any manufacturer's) best interests to lower their retail prices, lol.

It's more or less all the same reasons that the most expensive cars in the world cost millions of dollars.

A Samsung 960 is already ridiculously overkill for the overwhelming majority of consumers. Multiple drives of this sort in RAIDs just multiply this ridiculousness. The best drives have the best specs, yes. But real-world computing/gaming doesn't really need such performances, it's meaningless to most people except for brag and swag benchmark scores.

This should have the best virus detection and removal possible to keep computers at peak performance and virus free.

Actually I'm not sure if I had mentioned it in the past post. I did say I wanted to see more gaming VA. Although I would really like to see a better IPS and once it's available a PG27UQ with HDMI 2.1 or Displayport 1.5. Also, If they can ever do it find better ways to filter light on IPS type panels so the contrast is richer. While I love the PG27UQ I really want to see one without display compression as it increases aliasing. I know no current video cards support the new video cable standards, however future proofing is nice

    +1.
For ROG desktop and ROG gaming laptops.
ASUS should research how to build premium laptop with desktop GPU and CPU.
Don't need to be thin as now, could be bigger, heavier but mobility is important for some people.
Coffee Lake with 6 core and cards with power consumption as GTX1080 are great for that.
Many people don't want to buy laptops because similar i7 mobile is comparable with i5 dekstop or GTX980M is as GTX780 desktop.
