I see the thread was reopened and I have another suggestion.
How about oilless bearing fans for the gpu's.
When I removed my Strix 1070 I saw this shiny brown 1" line across the motherboard where the gpu was and I'm like what the heck is that. So as I was wiping it off I realized it was oil from the gpu fans. There wasn't any drops from dripping, it looked like it was lightly sprayed on.
When I was using the Strix 1070 I did crank the fans to 100% most of the time, it seems high rpm's sling out the oil.Last edited by Nate152; 04-29-2018 at 10:38 PM.
