That's worth a shot, I'm going to give it a go. Thanks for sharing that over here.

Update: Sadly, that didn't work for me. But it was worth doing.

I suspect that, just as we in our bodies can die in a number of horrible ways, the RGB system can be killed a number of ways -- and "resuscitation" depends on what caused the death. We may all be suffering the same symptoms but from different "diseases". It might account for some workarounds actually fixing some folks and not others.

Tired of trolls and mods that act like this platform has no problems and it's the users fault. Later.

Judging from the directions, this seems more probably a fix for those that are experiencing RGB trouble due to Aura + RGB RAM application conflicts.

Probably. I don't have any RGB RAM, just the board & the stock fan, but Aura caused problems with them all.

Actually I do have a Chroma keyboard & mouse, but those were unaffected.

It just surprised me because I had just kind of figured my LEDs were probably dead but they came back. Seems I might have just been lucky though.

In the post you quoted, I was talking about flynkalika's instructions in their post.

I have tried from yours as well though. No dice on either.

I wish I had that luck lol, waiting on a replacement board right now. My luck the replacement board will come in and the old board will start working again lol.

Hmm.... So, from what I am reading there is still no real fix or even a definitive cause for RGB failure on this board. I have refrained from installing Aura or G.Skill software just to avoid killing The RGB function of the board... Seems I need to continue to hold off for a while or am I missing something?
