G.SKILL 3600MHz C16 Single Module DRAM Works Well. BUT...

Memory Name: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 (PC4 28800) Desktop Memory
Memory Module: F4-3600C16D-16GTZR

My case: With only one module(8GB 1DIMM), it works perfectly with suggested 16-16-16-16-36 timing at 3600MHz.
With two modules(8x2GB 2DIMM), it even cannot boot successfully at extreme high voltage setting.

So I think it is definitely about Ryzen memory controller. Please fix it.

if you swap your ram does the other module still work... it sounds like its your ram as i have the same pc3200 ram but rated for 4000mhz. i tried it yesterday and they worked straight away almost at 3200mhz @1.35v they were getting 1.37v and i had no problems running two sticks on an 1800x... good luck getting it sorted. if its not your ram your motherboard might be faulty.

I'm not sure which BIOS you are currently running, but I had good success running 1107. I have the exact same memory, while keeping voltage and timing at the sticker mfg recommendation. I am using DIMM_A2 and DIMM_B2

Thanks for your reply. I am also using 1107 BIOS. But I can only get 3600MHz with 8G, instead of 16G(8Gx2).
Did you just say you have same memory kits(F4-3600C16D-GTZR)? If so, can you save your BIOS setting file and send it to me? I want to have a look at your setting.
My email is CuewarsTaner@foxmail.com

Thank you so much

with G.SKILL 3600MHz C15 2x8gb I got it running on 3500 stable. I believe the timings are 16-16-16-18
(with 3.9ghz cpu)

OKAY, guys. I figured out my Memory Modules are different when they are from a memory kit. This is G.Skill's fault. I have already created a RMA case and I am going to send it back to G.Skill for replacement. One has XMP 3602MHz file, the other has no XMP file and undefined manufacture. It's crazy.
