A graphics card is pretty much plug and play, you'll need to connect the pcie power cables and install the graphics driver.
Alright. Thanks for the advice. I'm going to get my memory, and maybe my OS next month. But I'll probably wait and get my OS and extra storage (1tb hdd) in July (my main storage is going to be a 500GB MLC SSD, so it's pricey). I'll get my GPU after that, and maybe a disc drive, eventually. I think I'd like a disc drive that's 4k capable, but apparently there aren't any on the market yet. Of course I still have to buy a 4k 144Hz (or higher) monitor (preferably with g-sync), a mouse, keyboard, and other accessories. It'll probably be spring next year before I can really use this thing.

Hmmm yeah you still need some parts then, I'd get what you need to get you up and running for now then add as you go.

For instance you could go with the samsung 850 evo ssd.

What gpu are you getting to pair with your 4k 144hz monitor ?
