I have GL502VS and had issues with the creator update and eventually my recovery partition got damaged. I did a fresh Windows 10 install that worked ok (still have a touchpad issue to solve but this is for another thread). The system can boot up but the recovery partition is still damaged and once in a while when I boot the system goes into an error message:

Windows failed to start. ...

File: \EFI\MICROSOFT\BOOT\BCD
Status: 0xc0000454
Info: The Boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors.

I can then escape out of the message to the firmware settings, then escape out of the firmware settings without saving and then the system boots into Windows 10 with no problems.

I assume this error (not every reboot, just once in a while) has to do with the recovery partition being damaged. How can I rebuild this partition?
