Nice guide Michael. In general does the OC version of this card clock any higher?? Are the cores binned?

Hi Nick, thanks. Yes Pascal cards were binned throughout the range. Although, once pushing things on water the silicon limit is around the same besides a few golden samples.

so recently I've decided to overlock my gpu a bit according to this guide. But everytime I push the core voltage slider over the 10% state, it doesn't pass the Fire Attack test – it just stops.
Without changing the core voltage offset I can push the core clock only up to 2012 mhz (+70) without failing the 3dmark test. I guess i can get a bit more from my 1080ti oc with the right adjustments.

What am I doing wrong? The temperatures are fine.
Can you give me some advices?

Hi,

Yes, sounds like you're stable with less voltage on the default Boost curve. You will need to play with the curve to see how far you can push things at which voltage points. Unfortunately every card is different in this regard.
