Advices to configure Linux on Asus ROG GL553VD properly

Hi everyone.

I'd like to know if somebody has Asus ROG GL553VD that can tell me about their experience.

I could install Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 with kernel 4.10.0-21. However the FN key combination didn't work. Also I tried to configure bumblebee and when I finished the only way I could log in was with Gnome on Wayland and disabled gps on Gnome.

I would really appreciate if somebody has any experience or advices to configure my machine properly.
