    Late June?

Guess we're looking at late June for availability of the R6E. *How about the 7900X? Anyone know?

For some reason I have a feeling that R6E will come when the top CPUs are ready too...

I'm sure I've read the STRIX will be first, R6E at a later time. I wouldn't expect it to be in stores before July or August. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Need an OC guide by Raja too for the 7900X. Those OC guides are superb.

Anyone a bit disappointed with Intel on lowering the PCIe lanes on some of the processors? Some of the specs and pricing don't match well to the Broadwell-E, seems like they really want to push the i9

I'll see if I can find some time to put one together. We are getting slammed on all sides with work due to the blue vs red tug o' war...

Thanks Raja. Figured you guys had a lot going on currently. Any benefit for the 18 core chips? I'm not using all the cores I have now with my current CPU.

The 18-core CPUs are not scheduled until later this year. Won't have them for a while. Either way, unless you're using the rig for rendering or encoding, to make a living, no need.
