    My 7920x set @ 5212 mhz adaptive + .0010v HWM reports 1.221v - 1.244v from weakest to strongest core.

Is there a chart anywhere with the non-turbo voltages listed for x45, x46, x47, x48 multipliers? It seems like it wants to put them in the 1.24-1.27 range
    Hello

LLC is for VCCIN not VCORE. There will be not type of chart for these voltages as Intel programs the VID tables per the requirement of each individual CPU.

Moloch I was trying to do something the same as you were but was having the same problem. I found my CPU runs very well and stable with less voltage than Auto even at stock speeds. So to keep the heat down I was wanting to lower my voltage but didn't want to use Manual, want to use Adaptive so I get the benefits of the lower idle voltages when I'm away from my machine and leave it on a lot. So I ended up doing what you do and put in a - offset on my Adaptive setting, the additional voltage for turbo max voltage doesn't seem to do a thing it will always go over that. Must be what Raja said you can't go below what Intel has set for that multiplier which I wonder what that is myself. Same question as you. So far I can run all 10 cores at 4.5 for instance and a - 0.070 offset which saves some temps all around and causes me no stability issues that I can find so far. Auto just seems to use way too much voltage for no reason. Or I just got a good CPU who knows. Shoot I might even be able to go lower.

I can't wait to start testing after I get my chip back from being delidded. If it can do 4.7 on 1.2 v.... then delidded it's idle should be very low comparatively.

Don't want to void my warranty myself :P , wife gets my CPUs when I'm done with them so I normally don't over stress them. Shoot my daughter is using my old 3930K that's over 6 years old now after I used it for 3 and my wife used it for 3, wife has my 5960X now. I overclocked them both all those years too just a mild overclock though.

Raja answered this in another thread we had going. Those turbo voltages are setup by Intel so the vary from CPU to CPU based on the quality of the silicone. I noticed for instance if I set all my cores to say 100x43 and set them to auto voltage each core VID runs are different voltages, the 2 special * cores run at the lowest voltage while on auto so that is probably why Intel flag them as the special cores they have the most overclock potential.

So it seems the only way to undervolt the VID's without a manual voltage is to setup like we have with a negative offset.

The problem when you do a negative offset is that you introduce potential instability, especially if the CPU goes into an idle state and has to ramp back up. I've always used + numbers using adaptive.

@Brighttail I could see that happening possibly but so far has not happened to me. I'm running a small overclock with the top 4 according to Intel Turbo boost software at 45x100 and the other 6 at 43x100 with a -0.070 offset in the Adaptive voltage and I have the turbo additional voltage just set to auto right now as it doesn't do anything at this point anyway as discussed above. I ran Realbench stress test for a hour last night and also Prime95 with AVX off for an hour to verify it was stable at the high end. My goal was to keep my CPU package temp at 80 or below and all cores at 80 and below. After a hour of Prime95 the max temp on any core was 80 and the max package was 80 so I think I have it right where I want it. If I left everything auto or use say a +0.001 my VID's would hit top out at higher than required voltage and then cause temps to be 10 degrees higher overall. I have let it idle several times, monitor turn off and so on and it always comes back just fine at this point so far. I have sleep disabled so maybe that could be an issue, but honestly I never use sleep state on my tower only on my laptops. If I plan to be away that long I just turn off the system all together. I'm using an AlphaCool Eisbaer 280 CLC on the CPU. I like this cooler so far, had used a Corsair H115i in the past and had them gunk up on me 2x and RMA them. Only thing I don't like about the AphlaCool is it doesn't come with a water temp sensor.

    Hello

    Finally i got my R6A.

Now I have a little problem:

I shut the System normally down in Windows.
When I start the PC later, it starts shortly, then shut off and start again.
    No complete power loss.

    Bios 0802
I did CLRCMOS, activate XMP and set some options for normal working. No OC yet...

    Is this a normal behavior?

    Thank you
